BIO

Abigail Caitlin Beasley

I am a model maker, scenic painter and designer working in film and stop-motion animation. I love what I do! I especially enjoy the challenge of small detail work and stylized themes. I enjoy working with props and sets to create a place we all wish we were tiny enough to step into!

Growing up in a small town (Pomona, Kansas: Pop. 900) afforded me opportunities to practice art early. I started out painting murals and signage for local businesses and organizations. After studying production design/theatre in Michigan I worked in Props and Set Dressing for film. It was then that I before discovered my affinity for miniatures. I was eager to stretch my creative muscles in any way I could to better my knowledge and skills in scale builds. Through work at various studios in Los Angeles I was able to hone in on stop-motion specific craftsmanship and become the artist that I am today. I've loved it every step of the way!

I currently am a freelance designer, builder, and painter, working mostly in miniature. I live in Burbank, California with my husband, Jeff, and our little gentleman, Watson, the dachshund.
